Barbara has run the Emsworth Cookery School since 2011 and loves getting more people enthusiastic about dishes they can create at home. Cooking over fire has become a passion and her menu here at Cheltenham has been inspired by a trip to Morocco last Autumn – expect to see a medley of North African spices, exotic vegetables and cooling sauces combined to bring to Cheltenham the flavours and smells of the Sahara!
Adam Purnell - Shropshire Lad

Adam Purnell is a self-taught chef who originally took inspiration from his father creating exciting new dishes to cook on the grill while fishing. His passion for live fire cooking has led to him becoming a well-known face on TV, Social Media Platforms, and the Wider BBQ Community.

Andrew is an Outdoor Cooking and BBQ Specialist, Live Events Host, Presenter, Demonstration Chef, Actor and Speaker.
Andrew runs the Riverside BBQ School in Hertford where over 6000 people have attended the BBQ Courses there. He also teaches BBQ and Outdoor Cooking at Hayes Garden World in the Lake District.
In 2023 Andrew set up and ran the Weber BBQ School Stage at Taste of Dubai and Taste of Abu Dhabi which were so popular they are already booked for 2024!

It all started with a single batch of BBQ sauce i’d made in the summer of 2014. My friends loved it and joked about how I should sell it and brand it as ‘Tubby Tom’s’.
Tubby Tom’s produces a huge range of handmade sauces and seasonings, ranging from a signature BBQ sauce to an innovative maple bacon dust.

Maisie McBagley

Maisie is a pioneer of primary school lunches.
Maisie has cooked at sea, at the Circus and for the past three years has been the head chef at the Long Table in Stroud. These days instead of in the kitchen full time she’s pioneering for change in school meals and advocating for children’s health.
Her passion for cooking, grilling and food in general keeps her fire burning.
