Angela is a food writer, food historian and professional cook and has written on food and drink for the publications including Daily Telegraph, the Independent and Country Life. She regularly writes for Borough Market where she also hosts their hugely popular Borough Market Cookbook Club and the podcast series, Borough Talks.
Angela’s debut book The Vinegar Cupboard (published in March 2019) won the Jane Grigson Trust Award, two awards at the Guild of Food Writers Awards in 2020, and ‘Debut Cookery Book of the Year’ at the 2020 Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards.

Angela has been the Guest Director of the British Library’s ‘Food Season’ of talk and events in 2020 and 2021.
