Plant-based cuisine – Karibu Vegan Bar & Kitchen – 2.15pm to 3.00pm

Like many of the coolest restaurants, this vegan bar and restaurant started out as a street food stall called Indie Veggie. Having built a cult following, charismatic plant-food champion, Sandeep Kanabar, established Karibu bar and restaurant.

The international plant-based cuisine draws on his Kenyan childhood: home-style food, cooked from family recipes. It’s also inspired by his travels across Asia and through South America to create a menu that has enthralled diners since it’s inception with a diverse mix of international favourites – all focused on putting fresh, seasonal and locally sourced products first.
