Wine descriptions

Culver Hill 2019. One of our most popular wines – just awarded an impressive 16.5/20 by Jancis Robinson MW. One third barrel-fermented Ortega, which gives a wonderfully creamy note, while the Seyval Blanc and Bacchus bring wonderful balance and freshness, with ripe peach, apple, elderflower and citrus notes enhanced by a subtle, savoury minerality. Serve with everything from chicken salad to roast pork – or just enjoy a glass on its own.

2021 Pinot Rosé

Our ideal rosé is dry yet full flavoured and equally happy to be served chilled with a game terrine in the winter or with a goats cheese salad in the summer. The colour is a pale ruby with aromas of wild strawberry, peach, rose petals and pink peppercorn, leading to a bone dry mouthful of strawberry, peach, raspberry and hints of star anise and orange zest on the finish.

Brut Reserve Cuvée NV

Extremely elegant and fine, yet also deliciously appealing and very, very sippable. Aromas of buttery biscuits, honeysuckle and citrus fruit while the palate is creamy textured and absolutely seamless with a zesty freshness leading to a long, mouthwatering finish. Wonderful on its own and also a brilliant match for a wide range of foods, try it with a crumbly farmhouse cheese or, our favourite match, Fish & Chips!
