Explore the role of herbs in plant-based and vegan diets. Whether you are interested in these diets from health, wellbeing or environmental concerns, this cooking demonstration will show you how herbs are an important part of our diet and far more than a garnish.

During the demonstration we will look at simple seasonal herb led vegan and vegetarian dishes that you can make at home.

Presented by Alistair McVicar. Alistair has been awarded a Ph.D. from the Grantham Institute of Climate Change, Imperial College London, successfully achieved the Leith’s Diploma in Food and Wine and runs herb-based masterclasses at their herb farm in South Gloucestershire.

Jekka’s is home to the largest collection of culinary herbs in the UK. A family run herb farm on the outskirts of Bristol with over 30 years’ experience in growing and using medicinal & culinary herbs, both plants and seeds.
